Showing up in support of housing reform

Tomorrow (Tuesday March 10th). The Oak Park Village Board will receive the Opticos Design, Inc. report on recommended zoning changes to support ‘Missing Middle’ housing. Their proposed zoning map would allow multifamily housing in most of Oak Park.

Interestingly this has been put back to back on the agenda with a presentation on the history of Historic Preservation in Oak Park, ensuring that the room will be packed with those who have traditionally opposed any and all zoning reform.This is a good opportunity to show up and give public comment, or at the very least, email the board @ board@oak-park.us
